Job Summary

Our user-centric-design driven Product Team has an opening for a Product Engineer. This
role is for all passionate candidates who love building physical products all the time. This role is for
developing our new line of products – Micro-Mobility Vehicles for People with Mobility Challenges.

Job Responsibility

Translate a concept from idea to market-ready product:
1. Liaise with team member for Problem Understanding, Ideation / Multiple Concept Generation
2. Liaise with team members for industrial design and surface modeling
3. Develop and iterate detailed engineering 3D CAD from the prototyping stage to the final product
4. Prototype & Test – User Features, Reliability, Mechanical Strength, Functional & Performance
5. Interact with the end user for validation of design inputs
6. Engineering Analysis – FEA, Reliability, Durability, FMEA
7. Conduct vehicle dynamic simulations and testing for analyzing vehicle performance
8. Production Design – DFMA, Value Engineering, Risk Analysis
9. Design & Development of Tooling, Fixtures, and Inspection Gauges
10. Product testing and certification
11. Transfer to Production
12. Documentation

Skills

1. Expertise / Strong Knowledge of
a. A True Engineer – Math, Mechanics & Product Engineering
b. 3D Modeling Skills preferably in Solidworks
c. Vehicle Dynamics Theory and Applications
d. Automotive Chassis structures, structural testings, body structures, ride validations
e. Engineering Analysis / Simulations – ANSYS, MSC ADAMS, ABAQUS
f. Materials – Ferrous, Non-Ferrous & Engineerings Plastics
g. Fabrication Processes / Manufacturing Processes Know-How
h. Must have Hands-On / Prototyping Experience

2. Good Knowledge of
a. Automotive Vehicle Systems
b. Mechatronics
c. Data Logging and Data Analysis
