Computer Vision Engineer
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for detection, tracking, scene
understanding, semantic analysis of environments and more.
• Leverage Deep Learning and explore advanced techniques like Vision Language
Models (VLMs) to enhance robot’s environmental understanding.
• Design and train deep learning models for object classification, segmentation, and
behavior analysis.
• Implement computer vision for Visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and
Mapping), enabling robot to build real-time maps and navigate autonomously.
• Integrate computer vision algorithms with other robotic functionalities (navigation,
interaction) for seamless operation.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance on embedded hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, roboticists, and animal behaviorists to develop and test
vision-based solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning
research.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in computer vision and deep learning techniques (e.g., convolutional
neural networks, object detection, image segmentation).
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with deep learning
frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV) and robotics frameworks (ROS) is
a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for developing innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
