Supplier Onboarding Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Onboarding:

  1. Scheduling and conducting visits to supplier facilities.
  2. Build rapport with suppliers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  3. Assist in gathering relevant data and details about the supplier’s operations, products, and processes.
  4. Preparing master data for products and machinery available with the suppliers.
  5. Documenting and vetting the manufacturing and quality processes followed by the suppliers.

Media Capture:

  1. Take high-resolution images of the supplier’s facility, machinery, products, team, and any other relevant areas under guidance.
  2. Record videos of machinery in operation, interviews with key personnel, and other significant processes.
  3. Ensure all media captured aligns with the guidelines provided by the company.

Data Collection:

  1. Assist in collecting and documenting relevant information about the supplier, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  2. Provide feedback and insights from the field to improve the onboarding process.
  3. Assist in preparing and submitting regular reports on supplier visits, media captured, and challenges faced.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production engineering.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  4. Have worked with manufacturing suppliers before.
  5. Detailed documentation skills.
